Detective Broughton from the Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), a seasoned expert in online safety and cybercrime, will lead the discussion. Detective Broughton will provide insights into the latest online threats children face, including cyberbullying, online predators, sexting, sextortion and exposure to inappropriate content. He will also share practical strategies and resources to help you safeguard your children online, such as parental control tools, privacy settings, and open communication.
The session will be held at the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Doors open at 9:15 AM, and the presentation will begin promptly at 9:30 AM.
